When the new 2023 Genesis GV60 is launched, it will be the first electric vehicle from Genesis and it will include some features never seen on any vehicle before. The Genesis GV60 is coming soon to Grayson Genesis in Knoxville, TN and it will introduce the first-ever facial recognition system for drivers in Maryville and Sevierville, TN. It will also introduce a lighted crystal shifting device that rotates into position when this SUV is started.
2023 Genesis GV60 performance
The first-ever Genesis GV60 will perform with the help of a dual-motor electric system coupled with all-wheel drive. There are two trims: Advanced and Performance. In the Advanced version, the two motors generate 314 horsepower while the Performance trim creates 429 horsepower. Turn on the Genesis GV60’s Boost mode and the GV60 is capable of producing a temporary “boost” to 483 horsepower.
2023 Genesis GV60 driving range
It’s well-known that most EVs are still limited in their driving range before needing a re-charge. The Genesis GV60 can travel about 248 miles in the Advance trim before it has to be re-fueled while the Performance trim is slightly less at 235 miles. While this is well off the pace of the EPA’s estimated 412-mile range for the average gas-powered vehicle, the Genesis GV60 can reach an 80% charge in 18 minutes if you find a fast-charging station.
2023 Genesis GV60 interior
The new Genesis GV60 will get some attention with its globe-shaped crystal gear selector. It provides interior light even when the vehicle isn’t running. Start up the 2023 GV60 and the crystal is available for shifting. FaceConnect, the first automotive facial recognition system, starts the vehicle without a key.
