The Beauty of the Genesis Facade Commission
Known as the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Facade Commission, Genesis is promoting unique artists and talent from around the world through this partnership. Through this five-year program, the Genesis Facade Commission will display a series of magnificent sculptures and other contemporary art installations to celebrate various cultural backgrounds and their unique connections to their work, such as with South Korean artist Lee Bul. In the coming years, the initiative will also display more art outside the U.S. at the Tate Modern, featuring artist Do Ho Suh, who masters immersive fabric installations.
